MORGAN BOGART

Glass mystified Morgan from the beginning because, by its nature, it can be worked indefinitely as long it’s continuously reheated.

“I love glass because it is the most versatile medium I know of. You can work it hot or cold, paint it, cut it, carve, blow, smash, sculpt and so much more. The moment I touched it, I was captivated..

After receiving my BFA in glass art from Rochester Institute of Technology’s School for American Crafts in 2002, I went on to work in production studios in New Orleans and then Seattle. I have also been fortunate enough to work with major artists in the glass world and study at the Pilchuck Glass School. In 2007, I was honored to be included in the book 25 Years of New Glass Review.”
