Unity in Glass ornament as a meaningful gift for a newly engaged couple

Most engagement gifts are forgettable. A picture frame. A bottle of champagne. A generic piece of jewelry that ends up in a drawer. The couple appreciates it, they write the thank you note, and six months later nobody remembers it.

If you are looking for something different, something that actually connects to the wedding they are planning and the life they are building, a Unity in Glass ornament might be exactly what you are looking for.

Here is why it works, and how to order one.

What is a unity ceremony gift?

A unity ceremony is a moment during the wedding where the couple does something together to symbolize their two lives becoming one. Sand ceremonies, candle lightings, wine blends. The glass unity ceremony is a modern take on that idea, and it is the one that actually lasts.

The couple chooses colored glass crystals together. Then at the ceremony, they pour them together. The crystals are sent back to our studio where we blow them into a handcrafted glass keepsake. What comes back is something permanent, a piece of art made from the exact colors they chose, fused together the way their lives have been.

We are the original glass unity ceremony company. We invented this. The registered trademark is ours and so is the process that makes it possible.

Why an ornament is the perfect engagement gift

When someone gets engaged, they immediately start planning. The venue, the dress, the flowers, the food. The unity ceremony is usually one of the last things they figure out, because it feels like a detail compared to everything else.

Giving them a Unity in Glass ornament as an engagement gift does something no other gift can. It introduces them to an idea they may not have considered yet. It gives them something beautiful right now. And it connects directly to a moment that has not happened yet but will.

The ornament is $164 and it stands completely on its own as a keepsake. But it is also a preview of something bigger. When they order a full sculpture or vase package for the wedding, their saved glass from that ceremony can come back to them as another ornament, a pendant, a ring bowl. The ornament you give them today is the beginning of something that can grow with them for the rest of their lives.

That is not something you can say about a picture frame.

How it works as a gift

Ordering a Unity in Glass ornament as a gift is straightforward. You choose the package and give us some contact information for the couple, and we take it from there. We'll find out their preferred color scheme and send individually wrapped colors for them to mix at the ceremony.

What if you want to give something bigger?

If you are looking for a more significant gift, perhaps from a group of friends, a family, or for someone especially close to you, our complete packages start at $379 and go up from there depending on the piece. The Unity Sculpture, the Signature Aria vase, or the Aurora series. Each one is handcrafted, each one is made from the couple's own colors, and each one is something they will have for the rest of their lives.

We are not just making them a piece of glass. We are making them an heirloom.
